Eau Claire (WI) – Converge Radio is ecstatic to announce the addition of “The Mess Around”, hosted by Angela Wheeler, to the list of our weekly specialty shows. Beginning on October 6th, “The Mess Around” will air every Tuesday at 6pm.

Angela, aka “Kitschy Mama”, has been an Eau Claire resident since 2006, and has since made it her home with her husband Johnny, their two sons Nico and Rigby, and their cat Foreman. In addition to being a dedicated DJ, she is also an artist, crafter, and designer.
“I’ve been dedicated to producing radio programs and podcasts since 2013. I absolutely adore introducing people to music they might have never heard. I live for rummaging through old records, playing songs on abandon jukeboxes and a frosty IPA,” says Wheeler.

Converge Radio, in partnership with Uniting Bridges of Eau Claire and Pablo Center at the Confluence, is pleased to announce a new series entitled, Conversations in Color.
The weekly program will dedicated to honest, progress-minded, and educational discussions about race in western Wisconsin. Each episode will focus on one central theme, including topics like police brutality and race, implicit bias, the significance of controversial monuments, and navigating race and racism with children, all from an apolitical perspective. These discussions will involve local educators and experts and explore how these issues relate to the people of western Wisconsin.
Conversations in Color is powered by the following mission statement: To provide space for asking hard questions and open, honest conversation regarding race and racism in western Wisconsin and beyond.
