Converge Radio, in partnership with Uniting Bridges of Eau Claire and Pablo Center at the Confluence, is pleased to announce a new series entitled, Conversations in Color.
The weekly program will dedicated to honest, progress-minded, and educational discussions about race in western Wisconsin. Each episode will focus on one central theme, including topics like police brutality and race, implicit bias, the significance of controversial monuments, and navigating race and racism with children, all from an apolitical perspective. These discussions will involve local educators and experts and explore how these issues relate to the people of western Wisconsin.
Conversations in Color is powered by the following mission statement: To provide space for asking hard questions and open, honest conversation regarding race and racism in western Wisconsin and beyond.
The program will air every Monday night at 7:30pm and will be moderated by Mr. Ed Hudgins and Dr. Selika Duckworth – Lawton. A video of the program will be streamed online and the audio will air on Converge Radio 99.9 FM.
Tune in each week as we continue to the conversation and work to improve race relations in Western Wisconsin.

Klenz is a UWEC graduate and an extensive fixture in the Eau Claire arts scene, contributing to Volume One, performing in local theater, and singing in local band for close to two decades. He is also the Executive Director of The Reach Foundation here in Eau Claire.
“Being an alumni of UWEC, a former student body president at UWEC, and a small business owner here in Eau Claire, I am excited to join a team that has done so much to take part in the growth and revitalization of our community. I hope I can play a small part in continuing that forward movement,” stated Klenz on joining the Converge Radio team.
“In a world where things seem so divided right now, I want to show that our community and our music is a way that we can all be interconnected. Hence the name!,” Klenz said, about his show. “I will tell stories from my time in the Eau Claire music and arts scene, I will play music that has moved me and shaped my own musical creation, and I will hopefully turn the listening public on to new artists and new styles of artistic creation.”
