Converge Radio, in partnership with Uniting Bridges of Eau Claire and Pablo Center at the Confluence, is pleased to announce a new series entitled, Conversations in Color.
The weekly program will dedicated to honest, progress-minded, and educational discussions about race in western Wisconsin. Each episode will focus on one central theme, including topics like police brutality and race, implicit bias, the significance of controversial monuments, and navigating race and racism with children, all from an apolitical perspective. These discussions will involve local educators and experts and explore how these issues relate to the people of western Wisconsin.
Conversations in Color is powered by the following mission statement: To provide space for asking hard questions and open, honest conversation regarding race and racism in western Wisconsin and beyond.
The program will air every Monday night at 7:30pm and will be moderated by Mr. Ed Hudgins and Dr. Selika Duckworth – Lawton. A video of the program will be streamed online and the audio will air on Converge Radio 99.9 FM.
Tune in each week as we continue to the conversation and work to improve race relations in Western Wisconsin.
