December 21, 2020 – Eau Claire, Wisconsin – Converge Radio announced today that they have a new home on the FM radio dial at 101.9fm.
Converge Radio, who recently went dark on 99.9FM WDRK on December 8th, will be returning to the radio dial on 101.9FM December 21, 2020, in partnership with Valley Media Works. Valley Media Works is non-profit organization whose mission is to help local, community producers create, polish, and broadcast their work. Also announced is that Converge Radio found a new studio space in Pablo Center at the Confluence, whose mission is focused on augmenting and developing opportunities to experience the performing, literary and visual arts for people of all ages and backgrounds.
Uniting Bridges, a nonprofit organization working in the community to promote racial peace and unity among all people, is the owner of Converge Radio, as of December 18, 2020. Uniting Bridges, along with Pablo Center at the Confluence, are also in partnership with Converge Radio with Conversation in Color, a program that airs every Monday at 7:30 on Converge Radio.

“Converge fam, we have been dying to share this news with you. WE ARE BACK ON AIR! Our new home is 101.9FM! We cannot wait to continue bringing local and independent music to the airwaves of the Chippewa Valley.
Additionally, we found our studio’s new home in Pablo Center at the Confluence and could not be more stoked about our new space.

Converge Radio will continue bringing radio programs such as Tunes From The Womb, a female and non-binary centric music program, The TS Experience, Local Independence, Midwest Hip Hop, and much more, as well as podcasts, such as Passion Pod, Never Records, and Natural Connections.
