This morning at 8:00am Bon Iver announced via Twitter that the upcoming European tour slated to kickoff later this month and run well into February has now been canceled, as has Justin Vernon’s scheduled appearance on A Prairie Home Companion. The only explanation given was simply “personal reasons” and at the time of this posting no further details have been released.
We will update with further information if and when such info becomes available. For the pessimistic Bon Iver fan reading this take heart: the message posted on Twitter closes with the assurance “we will be back” and there are still shows starting in April and going through the summer that remain on the books.
