Once a month, Converge Radio spotlights a local artist in the Chippewa Valley, highlighting their music with a special interview and songs. On April 1st and April 3rd, Converge Radio is proud to air our Spotlight Series with Menomonie singer/songwriter Hana Fleur.
With an ear for beauty and poetry, Hana Fleur creates personal, emotive folk music. Her thoughtful writing and clear vocals combine with deceptively simple arrangements and atmospheric production draw the listener into a unique musical experience. With roots in western Wisconsin, she is attentive to the rhythms of all parts of life. This awareness spills over into her music and lyrics. Approaching music with an open heart, she applies creativity to close the circle of destruction and offer healing for difficult stories.
Hana is also a part of an upcoming concert at The Brickhouse on April 2nd, featuring performers who have all recorded at Aviary Studios.
