The Chippewa Valley Writers Guild and Converge Radio are proud to present Oddly Enough: Season 2, a radio drama written, performed and produced in western Wisconsin and to air on Converge Radio on Fridays at 6:00p.m. from October 4-December 13 (excepting November 8).
Part Twilight Zone, part X-Files and with a healthy dose of humor, too, Oddly Enough seeks to share stand-alone tales that are both timeless and timely, relevant today, tomorrow, and forever. Season two will feature ten episodes written by Laura Buchholz, Deb Peterson, B.J. Hollars, and Jim and Jane Jeffries. Showrunner Karen Drydyk has worked closely with producer Scott Morfitt of Converge Radio, along with local actors, to bring the show from the page to the airwaves.
“Season one really helped us get a handle on the radio drama’s tone, style, and structure,” says Guild director and writer B.J. Hollars. “Season two really allowed us to show off all that we’ve learned.”
“A dash of odd and whole heap of creativity is what this season is all about!” says Drydyk. “Our local authors and voice actors are unbelievably talented. Our community is blessed to have them.”
Voice actors for season two include Rob Reid, Amber Dernbach, Mike Paulus, Jill Markgraf, Matt Kiskunas, Bev Olson, Wayne Dallman, and many more.
Special thanks to this season’s sponsor, the Eau Claire Community Foundation.
