Oh, hi there! We still have some more bands to get you jamming before Sawdust City Limits tomorrow night, don’t we? Well here you go, cool cats. Feast your eyes and ears:
The Gentle Guest
The Gentle Guest is a seriously rowdy gang of fellows who are sure to get your toes tapping, your whiskey glass a-raising…and probably your shirt off. Yeah, that happens a lot during their sets. They convince all the dudes to take their shirts off. Which in the land of beer and cheese isn’t as sexy as maybe it sounds, but it sure is fun. Come get fired up and half-naked for their set!
Listen:
Distant Friends
These guys bring a fuzzy, fun sound born out of 90’s college rock and punk influences that is familiar yet all their own at the same time. Fun fact: they were originally called the Yuuzhan Vong–named for a Star Wars extended universe race of aliens–but had to rename their band after Lucas Films said they had to. George Lucas, always letting us nerds down, ya know? Ah well. But seriously, these guys are great. You’re gonna like’em!
