Blugold Radio is proud to announce a new show coming to our airwaves – Bridge Talks.
Bridge Talks, heard on Saturdays at 5pm plays some great presentations happening on campus. The show will play pieces from special faculty forums, student readings in Schofield auditorium, and thought pieces happening campus wide.
Hosts Kiri Salinas and Scott Morfitt will introduce the pieces, give some content, and then play these fantastic presentations.
The first episode on Saturday, September 24th will play two pieces. The show will start with a talk Emeritus History Professor Robert Gough gave on voting choices made by UWEC students from 1916-2016. Interestingly, they differ from state and national patterns in very distinct ways.
The second piece comes from UWEC Then and Now: A Reader’s Theater featuring lively dialogue among students representing past and present about interesting events, defining moments and recurring themes across the dramatic first century of UW-Eau Claire.
If you are not able to catch the episode at 5pm on Saturday, September 24th the show will also be podcasted at blugoldradio.org.
