Artist Bio

Micah Ryan is a singer/songwriter from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Micah began playing piano at the age of four and has continued to pursue music since. Growing up he also participated in school band and boys choir. In school he was recognized quickly and placed in a group for gifted young musicians in which he worked personally with Bobby McFerrin and traveled to experience music in its various forms.

He began taking drum lessons at the age of 10 and continued playing in a band for 9 years, all the while also pursuing piano. After overcoming much long-standing self-doubt regarding his ability to sing, Micah Ryan wrote his first song at the age of 20. At the age of 21 he got his first guitar and began the arduous task of teaching himself guitar. Micah Ryan now has over 40 original songs and is continuing to grow in his understanding and ability of various instruments.

Intrigued and inspired by the ability of music to unite people who would otherwise not come together, Micah Ryan continues to pursue his passions with the dream of changing the world through music.
